Coming to Rhinebeck: Gorgeous Music AND Heavenly Church-made Apple PIes

On Oct 6th, it’s the 35th anniversary of the Rhinebeck Apple Pie Festival, sponsored by the oldest church in town, the 1809 Rhinebeck Reformed Church.

This year, in addition to the traditional sale of heavenly church-made apple pies  the 3 singing founders of the astonishingly fabulous “Phoenicia International Festival of the Voice” will be making their first public “east of the Hudson” concert appearance at the church that evening.

Sopranist Maria Todero, Baritones Louis Otey and Kerry Henderson and guest pianist Justin Kolb will be in concert at the church’s historic sanctuary at 7 pm … surrounded by soaring two-story windows and wonderful acoustics.

This past July, thousands of music lovers made the trip to Phoenicia for three days to enjoy this music … now it’s coming to Rhinebeck at the height of the fall leaf season.

Their vocal concert programme will include everything “from Baroque to Broadway and more.”

Tickets:  $15 for Seniors 62+ and Students; $25 adult.  They are available at Rhinebeck Department Store or at the door on the night of the concert.
