THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHWESTERN CONNECTICUT...WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS AND EAST CENTRAL NEW YORK FROM THE CAPITAL DISTRICT SOUTHWARD...INCLUDING THE CATSKILLS...MID HUDSON VALLEY AND SOUTHERN TACONICS. 
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

THERE CONTINUES TO BE A MODERATE THREAT OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THUNDERSTORMS THAT DO FORM WILL
GENERALLY MOVE FROM WEST TO EAST AROUND 40 MPH. THESE STORMS COULD
CONTAIN LARGE HAIL AND WIND GUSTS AT LEAST TO 60 MPH. SUPER CELL
THUNDERSTORMS COULD EVEN SPAWN AN ISOLATED TORNADO OR TWO.

IN ADDITION...ANY THUNDERSTORM COULD CONTAIN TORRENTIAL RAINFALL
THAT COULD PRODUCE PONDING OF WATER IN AREAS OF POOR DRAINAGE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS FRIDAY...SATURDAY AND EARLY
SUNDAY.
