Fairgrounds restrictions get long look from village of Rhinebeck

“The fairgounds needs events in order to be able to survive,” he said. “Certainly we don’t want the Dutchess County Fair here 26 weeks out of the year because that would have a severe impact on the community, but a lot of these other events that they have aren’t as near high impact as the fair is. It’s a matter of coming up with something that’s going to work as far as zoning for future development, noise, and traffic management.”
