RHINEBECK ROTARY CLUB ANNOUNCES STUDENTS WHO HAVE BEEN NAMED TO PARTICIPATE IN LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

The Rhinebeck Rotary Club, a service organization dedicated to enriching the lives of people locally, regionally, nationally and internationally, is proud to announce the names of the five students who will be participating in this year’s Rotary Youth Leadership Awards program.

Also known as RYLA, the international program is designed to provide students with the tools and skills they need to become effective leaders. Activities conducted in an atmosphere built around the values of Rotary International, focused on trust and respect, allow the students to enhance and better develop their natural potential.

This year, the students who have been selected by the Rhinebeck Rotary Club to be sponsored for the 2011 program include Bailey Lyons, Sarah Chaneles, Sarah Ayton, Jordanna Ickes and Ashely Carlucci.

Rotary Club President Louis Turpin shared, “We are proud to be part of this important tradition, which is incredibly valuable in its work to engage and support our youth as they develop the confidence and skill-set essential to serving as future community leaders”.

The Rhinebeck Rotary Club meets Mondays at the Beekman Arms at 12:15pm. If you are interested in obtaining more information, please contact Marybeth Cale at 845.229.0700 X118.
