BMS To Offer Program on Cyberbullying and Technology Use/Abuse for Interested RCSD Parents on Feb 18, 2011
Would you like to learn to educate your child on how to make safe choices when using electronic devices? Protect your child from online/electronic risk taking? Teach your child how to avoid being victimized by ‘cyber’ bullies?
This Friday evening, February 18, from 7:00-9:00 pm in the District Auditorium on the RHS/BMS campus, Deputy Todd Grieb, Dutchess County Sheriffs Separtment School Safety Officer, and Carmela Fountain, School Counselor to discuss this important topic. This program is sponsored by the BMS Building-Level Planning Team for the parents of all Rhinebeck school district parents.
Our children live in the age of technology, a world which, in most cases, they know more about than the adults in their lives. Deputy Grieb and Ms. Fountain will present a comprehensive program that will take a look at what our children are doing via their computers, cell phones, and gaming systems.
