Rhinebeck native promoted to Obama deputy chief of staff

WASHINGTON — A 1994 Rhinebeck High School graduate will become deputy chief of staff for operations as part of a realignment of staff in the West Wing.

Alyssa Mastromonaco, who spent the past two years as President Barack Obama’s director of scheduling and advance, and Nancy-Ann DeParle, who was the White House point person on health care policy, will serve as the two deputies to Bill Daley, who replaced Rahm Emanuel as chief of staff.
