Training can help your community become HEART Safe

More than 140 individuals suffer from sudden cardiac arrest each year in Dutchess County. Sudden cardiac arrest not only happens to older people. It happens to young people too. Just ask Kaitlin Forbes of Rhinebeck. While playing softball in high school, Kaitlin experienced sudden cardiac arrest. Fortunately her high school was equipped with an AED and the teachers and staff were trained in CPR and AED use.
