RHINEBECK HIGH SCHOOL CHORUS STUDENTS TO PERFORM WITH FOREIGNER AT THE DUTCHESS COUNTY FAIR

On Friday night, august 27, 2010, members of Rhinebeck High School’s Choir will step out under the lights at the Dutchess County Fair and sing backup for the rock group Foreigner as they perform their number one hit, “I Want to Know What Love Is.”

Foreigner is associated with VH-1’s Save the Music Foundation, a group dedicated to providing support for music education in public schools.  Part of the proceeds from their performance will support the work of that foundation.

Grace Lalicki, Rhinebeck High School’s Choral Director, has been rehearsing with the students in preparation for their rock concert debut.  “This is a wonderful opportunity for our students.  They are excited to be able to share the stage with a famous rock group, and to help support Save the Music” she commented.     The concert will begin at 7:30 at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck.
