Police seek public help in Rhinebeck robbery investigation

RHINEBECK — State police are seeking public help in identifying two white males who robbed the Gas Stop gasoline station on U.S. Route 9 on Monday evening.

The men, wearing masks, entered the station at about 8:55 p.m. and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk turned over the money and the two subjects fled the area on foot.

A search of the area was conducted by officers of the state police, village of Rhinebeck Police Department and the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office.
