Rhinebeck zoning proposals worry gun clubs
RHINEBECK – The town board is considering concerns raised about proposed zoning changes that would restrict gun clubs and encourage targeted residential development.
1,200 acres to be affected
Another controversial proposal is the planned conservation neighborhood overlay, or PCN. The overlay affects about 1,200 acres in the northwest section of the town.
The land would have 10-acre zoning, but a developer could build additional clustered units on the property if incentives for open space and affordable housing are met. The maximum amount of housing units that could be built on the property is 225.
