Some worry bridge work will snarl county fair traffic

RHINEBECK — The town is being encouraged to schedule repairs of the Hogs Bridge on Mount Rutsen Road in such a way as to minimize traffic congestion during the Dutchess County Fair Aug. 25-30.

At a Town Board meeting Monday, officials had questions about the needed repairs and the effect the work would have on fair traffic, which the state Department of Transportation had logged at 4,300 vehicles daily.
