Bard conference will look at Lincoln legacy
ANNANDALE – Bard College will host a conference on Abraham Lincoln on March 13, in conjunction with the 200th anniversary of his birth.
Guest speakers and panel and group discussions will focus on “Lincoln in American Memory,” “Lincoln and Words,” and “Lincoln and Emancipation.” Harold Holzer, co-chairman of the United States Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission, will deliver a keynote address.
