50+ turn out for comp plan meeting

Officials listened to comments and questions from a group of more than 50 interested parties, who expressed ideas regarding the main topics to be included in the draft scoping document, which will be used in drafting the final comprehensive plan.

The public now has until Aug. 25 to submit written comments to the board. The board has said it will then review all comments and incorporate them into a table of contents and start formulating the written report.
