BLAST OFF CLS: NASA scientist gives memorable lesson

“Imagine that some of your students in class now could one day be seated at the console in Mission Control in Houston, Texas as we witness astronauts, engineers and scientists building colonies and habitats on the moon,” said Pastrana. “Or, some may become medical researchers looking for a cure for a life-threatening disease.”

Pastrana says that to achieve our national goals in engineering, science and technology, these students are America’s hope, but they must be encouraged to have dreams, inspiration, motivation, and confidence in themselves.
