In Memory of Jayne Brooks

jaynebrooks1.jpg    The parish family of the Church of the Messiah

mourns the passing of Jayne Brooks, wife of Deacon Bob Brooks;  Jayne’s joyful service to the community will be sorely missed. In addition to supporting her husband in his work as deacon, Jayne helped lead Messiah’s involvement with the Dutchess County Homeless Shelter and Food Pantry, and started the Third Thursday Luncheon series in support of local non profits.  She also helped lead and organize Messiah’s coffee hour program,  was ordained in the “Circle of Hope” lay chaplaincy program, and was very active in the Linda Carr Cuddle Blanket project for the children of Camp Ramapo.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Ramapo for Children.
