 Nothing is cause for tears more than trying to recreate Grandma’s Sunday gravy and having it fall short of what you remember. Recipes that are passed down sometimes lose something in the translation but often it isn’t you—it’s the recipe. Kendra Lott, who has her Master’s degree in Food Studies from NYU, will teach you how to spot and correct recipe mistakes, translate verbal recipes onto paper and curate a gold-star collection of your family’s best. Pass the collection on.
