EVERYTHING’S COOL: America GETS Global Warming at Upstate Films – May 31st

Thursday, May 31: 8:15 p.m.  EVERYTHING’S COOL:  America GETS Global Warming — at Upstate Films in Rhinebeck.  A hot documentary about global
warming directed by Daniel B. Gold and Judith Helfand; picks up where Al Gore left off, as the filmmakers travel the country to interview people—artists, scientists, and Joe Six-packs—who are trying to save the environment.  An incredible story of global climate change messengers speaking out in an era of disinformation, the film focuses on how the public has been misled and misinformed by powerful lobbyists and manipulated media. Measures beyond bulb-changing are featured. While the film doesn’t focus
on doomsday predictions, it does stress that change must start yesterday.
