We’re looking for someone to work in our Rhinebeck office part-time. It’s a nice, small office perfectly suited to someone with kids that needs some flexibility re: scheduling etc.
Background: The Integrated Media Association (IMA) works with public broadcasters and their associated industry partners to understand and harness the power of new media applications. The core staff of IMA includes an Executive Director and Executive Assistant, working out of offices in Rhinebeck, NY. IMA also employs seasonal staff to manage the annual Public Media Conference and project staff, as permitted by funding.
Hours and Status: This is a permanent, part-time position – 20 hours per week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reports to the Executive Assistant who acts as Office Manager. Provides support to the Executive Assistant for:
§ screening incoming calls (there is no walk-in traffic);
§ gathering and organizing information for administrative reports;
§ managing staff calendar and schedule;
§ assisting in maintaining the IMA website and newsletter database;
§ organizing meetings and conference calls;
§ making travel arrangements and preparing expense travel/other reports.
