Cappella Festiva Treble Choir

Cappella Festiva Treble Choir hosts a Summer Choral Festival that is designed to uniquely educate and enrich motivated young singers by providing opportunity for study and singing of diverse treble choral repertoire under the leadership of experienced teachers. In this safe, enriching, and non-competitive environment, peers of varied ages collaborate as well as encourage and mentor.

SUMMER SENSATIONS DAY CAMP

Northern Dutchess Day Care Center, Inc. offers a summer day camp at the Baptist Home on Rt 308  This camp has been in operation for nearly 14 years. Qualified, experienced staff are CPR and First Aid certified. The outdoor pavilion is used for theme based activities, as well as, table games, sports, and crafts. Children have the opportunity to do activities with the residents of the Baptist Home as part of our intergenerational program.   2. First Baptist Church offers a week long summer Basketball Day Camp in the church gymnasium from 9:00am to 5:00 in July. With the help of some local coaching staff, the daily activities focus on the fundamentals of Basketball, and include both individual and team skill improvement exercises. Participants will have an opportunity to be involved in daily scrimmage games, a week long tournament, and compete for trophies.

    Great information, thank you! Two questions, though. First, does anyone know when the sign up is for the Rhinebeck Rec Park? Second, I went on the Casperkill website and there is a note saying they are not running the camp this summer because they are under contract to sell the property – anyone know anything about that?

  13. High Power Soccer program is an AWANA affiliated national soccer program hosted by the First Baptist Church of Rhinebeck at the The Baptist Home Soccer fields. The camp is for children ages 5 to 11. Children of all skill levels will benefit as they learn basic soccer skills, and take part in personal and team skill improvement exercises, as well as daily scrimmage games. High Power soccer will take place June 27 through July 1 from 8:30am to 12:15pm. There is NO COST to attend this program!     I am writing to you in regards to Children’s Media Project’s summer programs. These programs will offer a hands-on experience in media-making as children and youth, ages 10 through 14, try out a variety of media including animation, radio, and video.

    Children’s Media Project is an arts and education organization focusing on media and technology. CMP’s mission is to create a teaching/learning environment where artists, educators, community activists, and especially children and youth can learn to interact with the media arts both as creators and critical viewers.
