RHINEBECK – A memorial service will be held for a veterinarian who died after he was struck last week by a horse he was treating.
There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Dapson Chestney Funeral Home in Rhinebeck.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in Steiner’s name to the American Association of Equine Practitioners Foundation at 4075 Iron Works Parkway, Lexington, KY 40511 or online at www.aaep.org/foundation_make_gift.htm. Funds will be used to establish a scholarship in his name.
