Rhinebeck Superintendent of Schools Joseph Phelan said No Child Left Behind conveys the expectation that 100 percent of U.S. students will achieve satisfactory reading and math proficiencies by 2013.

MOUNT TREMPER — Former President Bill Clinton and U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton spent part of this weekend in Ulster County.
It was the former first couple’s second visit to the area in less than five months.

On December 15th the Board voted to amend the Comp-Plan by adding 200+ units to the Holy Cross site. This unprecedented and likely unlawful vote was done during the holidays when town meeting attendance is lowest and without ANY public hearings.

RHINEBECK – Because of inclement weather, the first Rhinebeck High School Welcome Back Breakfast has been rescheduled to 8-10 a.m. Jan. 9.
Recent graduates and alumni are invited to visit with faculty, staff and students.
The breakfast will be held in the Bulkeley Middle School Cafeteria and give graduates a chance to reconnect with former classmates.
